JOB DESCRIPTION
Porter's Office Products is an established and fast-growing company, searching for a Furniture Project Manager working in our Rexburg, Idaho location. Business hours will be Monday through Friday---with no weekends! This FULL-TIME position is perfect for someone who is a self-starter with a strong desire to succeed. Must maintain professionalism with excellent organizational and follow through skills. Needs to be a team-player and able to multi-task handling a wide variety of responsibilities.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skillsStrong computer skillsGood verbal and written communication skills, ability to work in consultative role with customers at all levels of organization chartStrong ability to work in a team environmentAbility to prioritize, work under tight deadlines, and manage multiple projectsKnowledge of commercial office furniture specificationExperience working directly with customers to find solutions to problemsA minimum of two (2) years in a related field, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceMAIN JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Turns quotes into orders, verifying accuracy and obtains signed quotes and T&C's. SIF's Steelcase orders into DDMS immediately upon entry.Creates and processes purchase orders for Steelcase and special-order furnitureCoordinates furniture installs, updates schedule, communicates and coordinates with customer, sales rep, our installer and/or 3rd party installersResearches product for Sales and Customers.Is an ambassador of Blue Cow service and provides exceptional follow through to our customers.Collects and coordinates punch list items to be complete to customer's satisfactionInvoices out projects immediately after completionProcesses and schedules warranty and repair requestsPicks up incoming calls for furniture and takes care of customers on showroom floorMaintains furniture showroom and scratch and dent area keeping arranged, cleaned, and signedOccasionally go out on customer site and attend sales meetings and other company sponsored training events as requestedWorks closely with the installation team and Vice President of Operations on the scheduling and installation of a product.OTHER JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the activities related to the ordering, purchasing, expediting and installation scheduling of furniture projectsWorks with company personnel as well as customers throughout the full project lifecycle from order placement to installation and punch list completionTraveling to appointments and other locations to assist#J-18808-Ljbffr
