Furnace Packer - Snelling : Job Details

Snelling Staffing is hiring for a FURNACE PACKER position in Canton.

Pay is: $17 while training on 1st first

Pay is: $18.50 after training moved to afternoon (3p-11p)

Weekly Pay

The duties involve:

loading and unloading electrodes into & from furnaces

packing them with insulating materials

monitoring the firing process.

This includes tasks like leveling, tamping insulating mixtures, attaching slings for crane operations, and ensuring proper insulation & cooling.

It's a physically demanding role, potentially hot and fast-paced, requiring standing or walking for extended periods.
