What You Will Enjoy Doing*
- You will exhibit strong proficiency in interpreting and following Product Manufacturing Instructions (PMIs), Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and production schedules to effectively execute daily tasks, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.
- Further you will support and participate in current and new safety initiatives/policies as business needs arise.
- You will follow step by step instructions detailed by senior operators in turnover reports, written job instructions, or verbal instructions and balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
- You must demonstrate strong batch chemistry math skills, including the ability to accurately perform calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and weight percentage conversions across various units of measure.
- Employees will work in a challenging environment that is typically temperature controlled in areas required but often can be hot, dirty, dusty, and humid, while wearing a respirator, flame-resistant (FR) clothing, and appropriate safety gear, in a setting that can be noisy and demands strict adherence to safety and quality protocols.
- You will be responsible for operating and maintaining large-scale powder production equipment, including atomizers, spray dryers, power cabinets, blenders, screeners, forklifts, scissor lifts, cranes, and pallet jacks, while working with high-pressure gases, induction-powered furnaces, and high-vacuum equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation in compliance with company procedures and safety standards.
- You will complete minor to moderate machine adjustments and maintenance repairs as needed by utilizing your mechanical skillset.
What Makes You Great
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Must have the ability to read, understand, and follow complex work instructions with accuracy and attention to detail. You are highly proficient in performing mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, across all units of measure is essential.
- Experience operating plant equipment and industrial vehicles.
- Must be physically capable of performing tasks that involve frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, hand and finger manipulation, as well as occasional stooping, crouching, climbing, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- The ability to safely wear and work while using a full-face or half-face respirator is required.
- Strong computer proficiency is required, including demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), as well as the ability to quickly learn and navigate production-specific software and systems.
- As a level I (LGG9) Technician you will possess all the above requirements plus you will have 0-5 years of experience in a related manufacturing or industrial field, along with demonstrated mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge.
- As a level II (LGG10) Technician you will possess all the above requirements plus you will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related manufacturing or industrial field, along with demonstrated mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge.
- As a level III (LGG11) Technician you will possess all the above requirements plus you will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a related manufacturing or industrial field, along with demonstrated mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge.
