Activities Assistant - Senior Living - Do you like to have fun? Do you like making people around you feel special and important? If so, this might be the job for you!

This position is responsible for a welcoming, fun, lively bistro Monday-Friday 10am-1pm. You'll be servingour residents various food items in addition to running daily activities in the lobby. The right candidate will welcome and encourage all residents and guests to to participate in activities and join in the social atmosphere that is Broadway Proper!

We are seeking for a reliable, fun and outgoing Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team at a large senior living community in East Tucson. Come join a team of dedicated, smart, and caring professionals as they work together to care for our seniors and provide them the lifestyle they deserve.

Shift is Monday - Friday, 9:30am-1:30pm.

Job Description

Life Enrichment Assistants are responsible for facilitating the activities for both independent and assisted living residents. Must be flexible, dependable, work well under pressure and be a self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activity programs of this community
• Observe resident attendance, mood, behavior, and degree of involvement so that facility activities and resident progress are evaluated
• Involve the residents in planning activity programs when possible

Qualifications

• Must be flexible, dependable, work well under pressure and be a self-starter
• Must be friendly, personable and outgoing!
• Food Handlers Permit
• Able to move at least 50 pounds, including tables and chair on a regular basis
