Position Type: Technology/Network Specialist Date Posted: 2/21/2025 Location: Rush-Henrietta Senior High School Date Available: ASAP Closing Date: Until filled DUTIES: Configures, manages and monitors servers (physical and virtual), network equipment, and services such as but not limited to: email, databases, Google Workspaces, Active Directory, backups, VMware vSphere, and enterprise storage. Oversees the selection, installation, repair, and replacement of all wired network, server, and wireless access network equipment. Maintains and documents all network and server configurations. LOCATION: Technology Services Department 1799 Lehigh Station Road Henrietta, NY 14467 SALARY: $22.18 per hour minimum, based on related work experience, plus full-time benefits per the RHEA, Coalition Unit, Administrative Support Professionals Chapter QUALIFICATIONS: Must currently hold the Civil Service title of Senior Network Technician OR be reachable for appointment from the current Civil Service Senior Network Technician list of eligibles. Experience in Windows desktop and server administration, Linux, virtualization, Google Workspace administration, OS and software deployment, routing and switching, enterprise wireless, and enterprise storage devices is required.
