Job Title: Full-Time Registered Dietitian

Department: Food and Nutrition

Hours Per Week: 40 hours/week

Schedule: Monday-Friday days, weekend on-call rotation after training

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000

SUMMARY:

In your role as a Full-Time Registered Dietitian, you will leverage your nutritional expertise to develop and implement exceptional diet plans tailored to meet each patient's unique needs, ensuring they receive the highest quality nutritional care.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assessment: Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for all patients; contribute to Nutritional Support Service rounds; track and document patient progress diligently.

• Diet Planning: Provide expert guidance on formulations, rates, and volumes for tube-fed and TPN patients; educate patients and families on special diets and optimal nutrition; finalize diet instructions for complex dietary needs.

• Patient Care: Create personalized patient care plans based on clinical data, interviews, diagnoses, and treatment goals; supervise dietetic technicians to ensure effective patient care delivery.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

• Registered Dietitian (RD) certification with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), to be obtained within 6 months of hire.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• One (1) to three (3) years of relevant experience.

• Strong analytical, technological, and communication skills.

• Exceptional customer service and patient care experience.

EDUCATION:

BS in Nutrition (Required)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires medium work including exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
