Job Description: Responsible for receiving incoming telephone calls in a prompt and courteous manner, greeting patients, verifying demographic/insurance, collecting co-payments/deductibles, and various clerical duties.

Job Responsibility:

  • Promptly and professionally answers telephone calls, and if appropriate routes them appropriately.
  • Organizes messages and delivers them promptly to the necessary individual.
  • Greets patients and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Verifies insurance coverage and demographic information.
  • Obtains insurance referrals and authorizations.
  • Directs patients to appropriate waiting or clinical areas.
  • Explains financial obligation to patients or responsible parties and collects copayments/co-insurance/deductibles as required.
  • Facilitates or creates appointments for follow-up care, diagnostics procedures, physical therapy, or pain management.
  • Other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.
  • Varying shifts between the hours of 7:30am - 8pm.
  • 1-2 late nights (11:30am-8pm) required.
  • Rotating weekend (1/month) required.

Additional Salary Detail The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity). The salary range for this position is $34,820-$51,950/year.
