Position Overview: As a Produce Associate, you will be responsible for sorting, displaying, replenishing, and maintaining our fresh fruits and vegetables. Your role will be vital in ensuring that our produce meets or exceeds the high-quality standards our club is known for.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assist members in the produce department with inquiries and product recommendations.
• Inspect, rotate, and store incoming produce to ensure quality.
• Keep produce displays stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the produce section and equipment.
• Handle and dispose of damaged or spoiled products in line with guidelines.
• Support inventory and order processing as required.
• Generate accurate signage for produce items and perform price checks.
• Adhere to club policies and procedures consistently.
• Work collaboratively with other departments as needed.
• Attendance and punctuality are critical to this role.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a produce department is preferred.
• Familiarity with various fruits and vegetables, including seasonal items.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Work Environment: Expect to be active for most of the day, frequently moving on hard surfaces and positioning yourself to analyze merchandise. Lifting up to 30 pounds is commonplace, and you may need assistance for heavier or awkward items. The work setting will include exposure to temperature variations from freezers, ovens, and coolers.
