Job Title: Primary Therapist

Department: Outpatient adult behavioral health

Location: 100 Pinewild Dr #2a, Rochester, NY 14606

Hours Per Week: 40

Schedule: Monday - Friday; Days, 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000

SUMMARY:

Join our team as a Primary Therapist, a vital resource and trusted confidant dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for each patient while providing top-notch treatment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, offering counseling and clinical interventions for a designated caseload.
  • Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy.
  • Collaborate effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team in the coordination and delivery of patient care.
  • Communicate with internal and external care providers to ensure comprehensive patient assessment and care coordination.
  • Engage in professional supervision and ongoing education to promote quality care.
  • Timely and accurately complete all required documentation.
  • Maintain a full caseload that meets productivity expectations while minimizing missed appointments.
  • Utilize proficient computer skills for electronic documentation.
  • Obtain necessary licensure or permit in a timely manner.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's Degree in Human Services or a related field.
  • Current LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LCAT, LMFT, or permit holder in one of these professions required. Limited permit or license must be obtained within 1 year of hire.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two years of relevant experience is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This role involves sedentary work, requiring the ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally. Primarily sitting, with brief periods of walking or standing as needed.
