Salary: See Position Description Location : Jacksonville, NC Job Type: Full-Time Job Number: 09232025-FT Data Services Tech Department: Instructional Support Opening Date: 09/23/2025 Closing Date: 10/19/2025 11:59 PM Eastern Description Provide technical expertise on main campus and remote sites. Must have valid driver's license and able to obtain access and driving privileges for sites on Camp Lejeune and MCAS New River. Install, configure, repair and maintain microcomputer software, hardware, and computer peripheral devices. Edit videos of events you record for the College. Provide audio support with sound board, microphones, and speakers. Assist students and employees via phone, e-mail, in-person, remotely, and by driving to locations with operation of computer hardware, software, and connection issues. Record and edit material for classrooms and college use. Research audio/visual equipment for purchase, assuring compatibility with college assets. Provide audio/visual support for college events. Conceptualize and design a wide variety of recording, audio, and video projects using computers and graphics software. Install, configure, repair, and maintain microcomputer software, hardware, printers, and peripheral devices. Standard working hours: Monday - Friday; 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Flexible hours, with occasional evenings or weekends beyond the regularly scheduled workday. Salary: $3,500.00 per month (competitive retirement, and optional health benefit plans available). Start Date: November 17, 2025. Closing Date: October 19, 2025, or open until filled. Minimum Qualifications Associates degree or higher in computer, video, or sound related field, required. Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows operating system. Proficient with MS Office. Willing and capable to learn audio visual equipment, sound system reinforcement, and video editing. Able to obtain CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent within one (1) year of hire and maintain the certification. Preferred ServiceNow usage experience for work tickets for customers. Preferred VMWare, Adobe and Beyond Trust experience. Supplemental Information Official transcripts, including other documentation verifying all reported educational qualifications, are required.
