House Manager / Morning Family Assistant - Tribeca, NYC A fast-paced, professional family of three in Tribeca is seeking an exceptional candidate who can run a household as smoothly as a five-star hotel while bringing warmth and organization to their mornings. This role involves managing a 3,400 sq. ft. luxury apartment in a high-end Tribeca building with concierge services. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate household needs while creating a supportive, nurturing environment for the family's young child. Start Date: Immediate Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM Primary Responsibilities - What You'll Do
- Prepare breakfast for the family each morning.
- Assist the child with their morning routine - including waking up, getting dressed, and preparing for school - to ensure a smooth and timely start to the day.
- Orchestrate the day-to-day flow of a fabulous 4-bedroom Manhattan apartment.
- Manage calendars, vendor visits, weekly grocery shopping, Amazon packages (and returns), and errands.
- Stay on top of wardrobes, school forms, and travel packing so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Coordinate with the building concierge and oversee vendor and maintenance appointments.
- Take inventory of household supplies and restock as needed.
- Conduct proactive walkthroughs and inspections to ensure everything is in proper working order.
- Provide hands-on household support and complete simple tasks as required.
- Approach unexpected situations with a calm, can-do mindset - occasionally staying late or covering a weekend if needed. Requirements - What They're Looking For
- 3+ years of proven experience managing a busy household (previous nanny or family assistant experience combined with house manager duties strongly preferred).
- Sharp eye for detail and the initiative to resolve issues before they escalate.
- NYC savvy: you know the fastest subway line, the best rainy-day museum, and how to book a last-minute handyman.
- Discreet, professional, and comfortable with technology (Instacart, Google Calendar, smart-home apps).
- Takes pride in your work and maintains a positive, professional attitude.
- Fluent in English.
