Full-Time Front Desk Associate - KidZone Museum : Job Details

Proficient in Google Workspace with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software platforms such as Salesforce and Excel.Full-Time Front Desk Associate KidZone Museum - Truckee, CA KidZone Museum is the only children's museum in Truckee, welcoming over 30,000 visitors annually. Our mission is to inspire learning through creative play and discovery. We're looking for a reliable, friendly, and hard-working team member to be the first point of contact for families, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and supported. Job Status: Full-Time, 5 days per week (typically Tuesday-Saturday, with rare adjustments to Monday or Sunday as needed) Hourly Wage: $17-21 to start, DOE Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to museum guests and program participants
• Handle admissions, membership sales, and cash reconciliation
• Use Salesforce, Google Workspace, and other systems for data entry and reporting (training provided)
• Assist with administrative tasks and general office duties
• Support program and exhibit activities when needed
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, including helping with spills and occasional accidents and snow-shoveling
• Regularly check and respond to emails in a timely, professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Friendly, approachable, and comfortable interacting with children and families
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and a collaborative, flexible approach to supporting team needs.
• Proficient in Google Workspace with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software platforms such as Salesforce and Excel.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
• Prior customer service experience preferred
• Must be available to work scheduled museum hours
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
