Full Time Floater - ServiceMaster : Job Details

Are you dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy working independently? We're hiring a Full-Time Floater to support our commercial cleaning operations across the Chicagoland area. This key role includes cleaning responsibilities, supply deliveries, and assisting with onboarding and training of new team members. You'll be provided a company vehicle during work hours and will work across a variety of locations including offices, schools, and banks.

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform commercial cleaning tasks at various client sites.
• Travel between job sites using a company-provided vehicle.
• Deliver cleaning supplies and equipment to designated locations.
• Help train and support new team members on cleaning procedures and company standards.
• Fill in at sites with staffing shortages or during employee absences.
• Maintain high cleanliness and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
• Follow all safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required).
• Ability to pass a background check and verify employment eligibility.
• Availability: MondayFriday, 3:00 PM 11:00 PM, with occasional weekend/overtime hours.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs and perform hands-on cleaning tasks.
• Comfortable driving throughout the Chicagoland area.

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work.
• Experience in training or leading small teams is a plus.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required.
