And our work to improve lives is never done.Interventional Radiology Technologists Are Responsible For The Following
- Produce radiographs during specialized radiology diagnostic & therapeutic procedures.
- Work alongside physicians and nursing personnel to perform radiographic examinations.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
QualificationsInterventional Radiology Technologists will be assigned to a team consisting of physicians, nursing personnel, and technologists in order to perform specialized radiographic examinations such as biopsies, catheter insertions, and more. Qualifications for this position include:
- Satisfactory completion of formal x-ray technology training
- Minimum three (3) years of experience as an x-ray technologist
- Minimum two (2) years of experience as an interventional radiographer
- ARRT certification required
