Position Overview: As a Dentist with Sun River Health, you will diagnose and treat dental diseases, injuries, and abnormalities, while overseeing clinical operations and dental support staff. Your commitment to excellence in patient care and operational efficiency will be key in this role.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the dental team, ensuring effective clinical operations.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate equipment repairs to support dental operations.
• Participate in staff and leadership meetings, collaborating on operational improvements.
• Perform clinical procedures including root canals, extractions, and comprehensive oral exams.
• Develop treatment plans based on full-mouth periodontal exams.
• Educate patients on preventive care and oral hygiene practices.
• Utilize OpenDental and eCW medical record systems for documentation of patient care.

Qualifications:

• D.D.S. or D.M.D. from an accredited dental school.
• Current New York State Dental License.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written.
