This role, based out of Amenia, NY, offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $158,904.20 to $173,791.80.

About Sun River Health: We provide comprehensive primary, preventive, and behavioral health services, ensuring that everyone has access regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay. Our facilities span multiple counties including Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia, and Westchester.

Position Overview: As a Full-Time Dentist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating dental issues, leading our dental team, and overseeing clinical operations. Your clinical expertise will be essential in ensuring compliance with organizational standards while fostering a collaborative environment.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Lead the dental team and provide oversight of dental support staff.
• Manage weekly ordering and inventory for the practice.
• Identify equipment repair needs and ensure smooth dental operations.
• Participate in staff and leadership meetings, as well as departmental discussions.
• Coordinate with healthcare leadership on operational needs.
• Perform root canal therapy and comprehensive oral exams.
• Take impressions for dentures and crowns, and develop treatment plans.
• Provide preventive counseling and oral hygiene education to patients.
• Document all findings in OpenDental and eCW medical record systems.

Minimum Education Requirement:

• Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred Education:

• Master's Degree.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

• D.D.S. or D.M.D. from an accredited dental school.
• Current New York State Dental License.
• CPR/BLS Certification.

Other Requirements:

• Effective communication skills in English (oral and written).
