We are excited to invite applications for the position of Full-Time Dental Assistant at our New Paltz location. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who are eager to make a difference in the health care field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients and inform dental providers of their arrival.
• Maintain and update patient charts and records, ensuring accuracy and organization of medical documentation, including radiographs and treatment plans.
• Record daily appointment data, including cancellations and payer sources, to assist in the collection of monthly dental statistics.
• Take and process radiographs according to directives from dentists and hygienists.
• Support on-site dental procedures alongside dentists and hygienists.
• Adhere to OSHA and CDC infection control standards as directed by the department and oversight by the Infection Control Officer.
• Ensure the dental operatory is stocked and kept in optimal condition.
• Manage dental laboratory tasks such as processing instruments and monitoring lab cases.
• Follow through with weekly and monthly maintenance of sterilization equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: Completion of a Vocational/Technical School or Diploma Program.
• 0-1 year of relevant work experience.
• Preferred: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (oral and written).

Compensation: Hourly rate between $20.50 - $22.00.
