Job Description:
· Certification AWS Certified Solutions Architect
· To use expert specialist skills and knowledge to define and deliver data solutions and to contribute to the development and implementation of IT plans in line with the overall strategy of IT and the business to act as Data Architect on major data programs
Responsibilities
Lead the data design of solutions for large projects and programs through expert knowledge translate high level business requirements into data models and appropriate metadata test data and data quality standardsSimplify the existing data architecture delivering reusable services and cost saving opportunities in line with the policies and standards of the groupLead the design development implementation and maintenance of complex data systems and solutionsDevelop conceptual logical and physical data models to support data analysis and business intelligenceCreate and maintain current and target state data architecturesDefine and manage standards guidelines and processes to ensure data qualityEnsure technology solutions are in alignment with data architecture principles and target stateWork with IT teams business analysts and data analytics teams to understand data consumers needs and develop solutionsEvaluate and recommend emerging technologies for data management storage and analyticsAWS Data ecosystem EC2 S3 Redshift RDS Glue Glue Catalog EMR Lambda CloudWatch DynamoDB DMS SCTEKS etcSkills Experience
6-8 years of work experience in IT transformations including platform modernization AWS cloud deploymentEntity Relationship modeling metadata systems data quality tools and techniquesBI and reportingExperience in data warehousing data modeling and or data analysisGood knowledge of data management data integration and database development techniquesAbility to relate architectural decisions and recommendations to business needsExperience with database technologies eg SQL NoSQL Oracle Hadoop TeradataExperience with ETL and other business intelligence toolsAbility to regularly learn and adopt new technologyExperience developing reference architecture principles and standardsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate across all levels of the organization and work with diverse project teamsEducation
Bachelors Or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
