HP Tuners is a global leader in vehicle calibration hardware and software, driving innovation in the automotive aftermarket. We're seeking a proactive and collaborative Full Stack Web Developer with DevOps expertise to join our growing team.

In this dual-role, you'll split your time between hands-on PHP/WordPress development and DevOps tasks including deployment automation, testing, and system reliability improvements. You'll work across cloud (Azure Linux) and on-premises (Windows IIS) environments, helping modernize and optimize our internal and external web applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop custom PHP solutions for WordPress sites, maintaining and improving their functionality.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement deployment pipelines for both Azure Cloud (Linux) and on-prem Windows IIS environments.
  • Contribute to the automation of deployment processes, testing, and rollback procedures to improve deployment reliability.
  • Refactor legacy systems and optimize existing codebase for performance and maintainability.
  • Support and improve CI/CD workflows, ensuring smooth, reliable deployments across different environments.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive, well-documented code, with a focus on building solutions that are easy for others to understand and extend.
  • Work closely with team members to share knowledge, gather feedback, and continuously improve development and deployment workflows.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors in computer science or relevant field is preferred or minimum of five years in similar industry experience.
  • Strong experience with PHP, particularly in a WordPress development environment.
  • Familiarity with DevOps concepts and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and deployment automation.
  • Experience working with cloud environments, particularly Azure Cloud (Linux), and on-prem environments like Windows IIS.
  • Solid experience with Git and version control workflows.
  • Proficient in writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like PHPUnit and Selenium for automation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to WooCommerce customization and store optimization.
  • Familiarity with Azure services.
  • Experience using monitoring/logging tools such as Grafana.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment welcoming change and growth
  • Demonstrate commitment to working with a team, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a high degree of professionalism is required.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize accordingly.
  • Ability to self-motivate and work independently.

Physical Requirements

Work is primarily performed at a desk using a computer, with occasional access to server rooms for installation, troubleshooting, or testing.

May require lifting or moving networking equipment (less than 10% of the time).

Compensation and Benefits

At HP Tuners LLC, we understand that compensation plays a key role when considering a new opportunity. We are dedicated to ensuring fair pay for all employees and continually work towards greater transparency in our compensation practices. The estimated base salary range for this position is $120,000 – $135,000, with actual pay determined including factors such as location, skills, experience, and other relevant considerations. This position also qualifies for a discretionary bonus and a complete benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage, paid time off (PTO), and a 401(k) program with employer matching.
