Position Summary

The Full Stack Software Engineer III will be part of the Product & Technology Organization in Frisco, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Implement custom reports, user dashboards, and other new features in a healthcare analytics web application
  • Maintain existing features and fix bugs
  • Develop back-end controllers, services, and repositories using Spring Boot and Java
  • Develop front-end components and services using Angular, CSS, and HTML
  • Write business queries and reports using PostgreSQL
  • Automate deployment and management of platforms using cloud technologies
  • Administer Linux servers and databases running in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment
  • Optimize performance of database queries and front- and back-end code
  • Diagnose and hotfix production issues when necessary
  • Participate in team meetings, retros, and code reviews
  • Contribute to shaping product requirements and code architecture
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Development skills with Java, Angular, Python, and/or other similar languages
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Experience with Jenkins and Ansible a plus
  • Experience with Terraform a plus
  • Development experience with Postgres, including advanced features
  • Familiarity with Git, GitHub, or other VCS software
  • Basic familiarity with Linux environment and terminal
  • Experience in developing modern, scalable applications
  • Experience with ETL processes or Analytics/Reporting applications
  • Strong initiative, self-motivated, and able to drive results with minimal guidance
  • Comfortable with uncertainty, ambiguity, and change
  • Ability to proficiently handle tasks independently
  • A professional, relaxed, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Pragmatic focus on delivering business value, with a relentless focus on creating and measuring outcomes

Compensation: $120,000 per year
