SUMMARY: Join our team as a Full Stack SharePoint Developer for a short-term project. This position offers the opportunity to go beyond traditional development - it's your chance to build impactful solutions that improve how our systems function and how users engage with them. We're seeking a talented and motivated developer who is eager to contribute to software and system development from concept to production-ready deployment. Work hours are flexible. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Re-engineer and modernize legacy custom SharePoint applications into Power Platform solutions, incorporating functional enhancements and streamlined user experiences.
  • Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions to define both:
  • Functional requirements: CRUD (create, read, update, delete) operations
  • Non-functional requirements: Performance, scalability, security, usability, and maintainability
  • Develop and configure SharePoint solutions, as needed, utilizing technologies such as:
  • CSS, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, React, Angular/AngularJS
  • RESTful services, JSOM, SPFx, and CAML Query for SharePoint
  • Integrate SharePoint and Power Platform environments with database technologies, such as, Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Connect and configure data sources through Power Platform connectors.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a full stack SharePoint developer.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with development tools such as SharePoint and PowerApps.
  • Strong experience with modern web development technologies and frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of database technologies and integration methods.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Creative thinker with problem-solving and analytical skills.

Work schedules are flexible, dependent upon incumbent availability. $30 - $50/hour, depending on experience. WORKING AT AIP: AIP embraces a flexible hybrid work environment to balance in-person collaborative work with remote work. The team works in a flexible, hybrid schedule and reports to our offices in College Park, Maryland and Washington, DC, as needed.
