Responsible for supporting the design and solutions to meet the needs of our clients.What You'll DoSupport the development and maintenance of web applications using Python and DjangoSupport the design and implementation of APIs for integration with external systemsSupport the design and implementation of datalake for the analytics web applicationWork with the rest of the development team and collaborate with product owners and stakeholdersWrite clean, maintainable, and scalable codeOptimize the performance of applicationsTroubleshoot and debug issues that ariseStay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trendsAll other reasonable duties as required.Document procedures in JIRA and Confluence in accordance to the correct governance.What You'll BringExperience with Python and DjangoFamiliarity with AWS and cloud-based development or at least some professional exposureFamiliarity with SQL language and databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQLUnderstanding of software design principles and best practicesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsQuick and eager to learn new skills.Some additional, but not required skills would beBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related fieldSome familiarity with containerisation technologies such as DockerExperience or familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools such as CircleCI, AWS CDK/CloudFormation or TerraformKnowledge of data engineering tools and technologies such as Pandas, dbt, Apache Airflow, Dagster, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, and data warehouses / data lakes generally.Experience with any of these front-end technologies: HTMX, AlpineJSFamiliarity with a front-end framework such as React or Angular or at least some professional exposureKnowledge of serverless architecturesExperience with microservicesFamiliarity with machine learning and data analysis tools and frameworks.Additionally:Ability to occasionally work outside of office hours, primarily to communicate with colleagues in Australia and the USOn call out of office hours support will be required on a rostered basis.Why Choose UsAs a global leader in our industry, we develop innovatively crafted, data-driven cloud software solutions for some of the best and most well-known automotive brands worldwide.
