Full Stack .NET Developer/Analyst - Universal Technologies : Job Details

UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Full Stack .NET Developer/Analyst with a minimum of 5 years of experience in professional application development using Microsoft technologies. This is a hybrid position in Long Island City, NYC. Candidates with active Linkedin accounts are preferred.

The Full Stack .NET Developer/Analyst will be part of a software development project team responsible for full lifecycle application development. The role involves both backend and frontend development using ASP.NET Core, Angular, MVC, and related technologies. The candidate will contribute to the design, architecture, coding, documentation, and implementation of web applications and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Develop distributed and scalable web applications using ASP.NET Core, Angular, and ASP.NET MVC 5

• Participate fully in the software development life cycle (SDLC) alongside the project team

• Contribute to application design and architecture

• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to meet project milestones and requirements

• Perform requirements analysis, coding, testing, documentation, and user support

• Maintain and upgrade existing applications based on evolving architecture

• Support UAT, environment setup, and end-user training

• Track and report activities using project management tools

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing applications using Microsoft .NET (C#) 4.0/4.5/4.6 and .NET Core 2.0

• • Strong understanding of OOP, architectural patterns, and design principles

• Experience with RESTful Web APIs, WCF, LINQ, Entity Framework, ADO.NET, and Dot Connect for Oracle

• Proficient with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, SCSS/SASS, and Angular 4.0

• • Hands-on with Kendo UI for MVC (Telerik)

• Strong database skills with Oracle (10g/11g/12c) and SQL Server 2016

• Proficiency with PL/SQL and T-SQL

• Ability to create and modify stored procedures, functions, triggers, packages, views, and materialized views

• Familiarity with SOAP, XML, JSON, and modern data interchange standards

• Experience using Team Foundation Server (TFS) for source control, CI/CD, testing, and deployments

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
