This company is building a secure, full-stack platform that powers digital asset custody for some of the world's largest organizations, including industry leaders in DeFi and web3. Having already processed billions in transactions and trusted by over 800 institutional teams, the company is on a mission to secure the next wave of global crypto adoption. With a lean, highly technical founding team and an engineering-first culture, they're looking to expand their development team with high-ownership fullstack engineers ready to move fast and build impactful systems. What You Will Do As a Fullstack Engineer, you'll work directly with the founding team to design and build the next generation of secure web applications for institutional crypto management. You'll contribute to both product features and infrastructure, own technical decisions, and play a foundational role in shaping engineering culture and velocity. Responsibilities include:

• Build fullstack web applications that handle mission-critical crypto operations
• Work across the frontend (React, Next.js) and backend (Node.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL)
• Collaborate with founders and early engineers to shape the product roadmap and scale the system architecture
• Integrate blockchain tooling such as ethers.js, Alchemy, and Solidity contract interfaces
• Implement and maintain high-security standards in a crypto-first environment
• Move fast with high autonomy, ownership, and a user-first mindset

Ideal Candidate Background

• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript in a fullstack development environment
• Track record of shipping production applications with React, Node.js, and GraphQL
• Strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence-able to collaborate closely with founders and teammates
• Motivated self-starter who thrives in high-speed, startup environments
• Deep interest or experience in crypto, DeFi, or web3 infrastructure
• Willingness to be based in NYC or relocate (with partial support); flexibility for occasional remote work

Preferred

• Experience with ethers.js or web3.js
• Understanding of Solidity smart contracts and common security pitfalls
• Background in UX or frontend design
• Experience making technical architecture decisions and mentoring peers
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Sequelize, or distributed systems
