About the roleIn person 5 days/week in New York City, San Francisco or Boston LangChain is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our Growth Engineering team and drive development of features that power our product's growth, monetization, and enterprise adoption. This is a rare 0→1 opportunity to join a just-formed, high-impact team where you will have an outsized role in determining the trajectory of the team and directly influence how LangChain is adopted across both startups and enterprises. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional partners including GTM, Product Engineering, Analytics Engineering, and Infrastructure as well as some of our largest customers and design partners. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will help shape intuitive and secure user flows and internal tooling related to authentication, authorization, pricing, and enterprise administration. Example challenges you might tackle:
- Build powerful, flexible usage analytics that scale with enterprise needs.
- Craft seamless onboarding and access control experiences that just work.
- Implement and measure pricing, packaging, and product funnel experiments that touch frontend UX, backend business logic, and vendor integrations.
- Optimize conversion flows with strategies including usage-based guardrails, smart upgrade triggers, and contextual CTAs.
Responsibilities will include:
- Implementing key enterprise-focused product features that directly impact growth and revenue.
- Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code, working across our entire TypeScript, Python, and Go stack.
- Collaborating with team members, including backend and infrastructure engineers and UX/UI designers, to improve usability and performance.
- Writing clean, scalable, and documented code.
- Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and applying them into day-to-day work.
How to be successful in this role
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering
- Deep understanding of React and TypeScript and their core principles, knowledge in at least one of Go or Python
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JWTs
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and database systems like Postgres and Redis
- Familiarity with git for version control
- Strong communication skills-able to work with internal stakeholders and engage directly with customers
- The ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Can thrive in a fast-moving environment. Views unstructured environments as an opportunity to figure out the most impactful work and define the future success of the company
- Are ownership-minded. You excel at managing your work efficiently and effectively without the need for close supervision

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary and equity stake for role and stage of company. Commensurate with experience.
- Annual salary range: $145,000 - $175,000
