Our Fintech client is seeking a skilled full stack engineer to join their growing team. This role will be responsible for developing and supporting applications throughout the complete software development lifecycle, ensuring robust system architecture, and supporting our technology-driven platform operations. The ideal candidate will combine strong programming expertise with adaptability to work within our innovative fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development & Support

• Develop and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs from conception through deployment
• Develop and maintain scalable client-facing web applications with focus on user experience
• Create technical specifications and collaborate with business stakeholders for requirements gathering
• Deliver high-quality software solutions through both individual contribution and team collaboration
• Implement modern architectural designs to enhance existing systems and build new frameworks

Technology Integration & Innovation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize development workflows and system functionality
• Implement engineering best practices to improve architecture of existing systems
• Maintain code quality standards and participate in peer code reviews
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in backend software development
• Experience in fintech, financial services, or related technology environments
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices

Technical Skills

• Expertise in Angular, CSS, and TypeScript (required)
• Strong command of SQL programming and database engineering principles
• Experience with scalable systems and database architecture design
• Knowledge of API development, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms
• Experience building customer-facing applications and public-facing websites
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies

• Excellent troubleshooting abilities for time-sensitive technical issues
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to work collaboratively with business users to develop design specifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mortgage-backed securities, whole loans, or structured products
• Knowledge of portfolio management systems and financial accounting principles
• Exposure to corporate credit products (collateralized loan obligations, corporate bonds, bank loans)
