Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Full Stack Developer opportunity in Oak Ridge, TN.Work Location: On siteUnited States Citizenship is requiredPosition Overview/Job Summary: Seeking a talented, energetic, ambitious, and experienced Full Stack Developer who wants to join our software development team in Oak Ridge, TN. As a Software Developer, you will have the opportunity to be a member of our global software development organization working with state-of-the-art tools and technologies to build software applications in the EPC space for our global enterprise. You'll get the chance to interface with customers, work on web and mobile applications, and improve on existing systems and code. The products that you build will touch thousands of users across the globe. Major Responsibilities:
  • Develop full stack applications that are scalable, robust, and thoughtfully designed.
  • Should be comfortable with all layers of the stack, from the database to the front-end.
  • Develop and maintain web applications using React, Angular, and .NET Web APIs.
  • Design database schemas and write complex database queries.
  • Full software development lifecycle, from design to implementation.
  • Works with identity management as needed to implement and configure application authentication.
  • Secures application access using role-based security.
  • Ship production-ready code to a large customer base, and take full ownership of the work, including testing and deployments.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, domain experts, and end-users, to build the right solutions that address the business needs.
  • Oversee the design, scoping, implementation, and testing in short, agile release cycles.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
  • Identify and implement technical innovations to improve work processes.
  • Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires a review of a variety of factors.
  • Demonstrate judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Work closely with the business analyst, lead developer, and users to assure that business requirements are accurately represented in design and implementation phases.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree(or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience; or 9-12 years of relevant work experience without a degree
  • 5+ years of JavaScript/TypeScript based software development experience
  • 5+ years of .NET C# development experience
  • 5+ years of RDBMS development experience
  • Strong experience in full stack development in a Microsoft ecosystem
  • Experience in working in Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL and Postgres
  • Experience in CSS and frontend UI frameworks, e.g. Material, TaigaUI
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to join an existing project and quickly become productive.
  • Must possess good teamwork skills and work effectively with cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience in source code management (e.g. Azure DevOps, Git, TFS).
  • Experience in web application development using modern front-end frameworks and libraries such as React and Angular.
  • Experience in writing robust APIs in .NET or .NET Framework.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
