Akkodis is seeking a Full Stack Back End Java for a contract job with a client in Dearborn, MI . Responsibilities include delivering APIs and mobile app features for the Loyalty Platform using tools like Google Cloud Run, MongoDB, and Tekton, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable, connected vehicle solutions.Rate Range: $60/hour to 65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Full Stack Back End Java job responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Google Cloud Run to support mobile and web applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver connected vehicle features and ensure seamless integration across platforms.
- Implement backend services with a focus on scalability, performance, and security using MongoDB, Firestore, and other cloud-native tools.
- Utilize DevOps tools like Tekton, GitHub, and Splunk for CI/CD automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Contribute to software architecture planning and apply software craftsmanship principles to deliver high-quality code.
- Continuously experiment with new technologies to enhance system performance and user experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot development.
- Proven experience in building and deploying RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Google Cloud technologies.
- Strong understanding of backend systems with experience in MongoDB, GCP Cloud Run, and CI/CD tools like Tekton.
