About the role

Brilliant Financial Search is seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Financial Search Manager to join a growing team and work passionately selling direct hire search services and filling open accounting and finance roles for its clients.

Brilliant Financial Search specializes in the direct-hire (permanent) placement of accounting, finance, tax, and audit professionals through retained and contingency searches. Roles include Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, Controller, Financial Analyst, Tax Manager, Internal Audit, Financial Reporting Manager, and CFO.

What will you do?

The Financial Search Manager's role involves candidate and client prospecting, client visits, candidate interviews, placement coordination, and account management. Strong communication, organization, resiliency, and a solution-focused mindset are essential.

  • Research social media and internal systems daily to identify potential candidates and clients.
  • Contact prospective candidates in accounting, finance, audit, and tax fields to identify those seeking opportunities.
  • Conduct candidate interviews to assess skills, personality, and preferences.
  • Engage with prospective clients to understand their hiring needs.
  • Meet with clients to promote Brilliant's search and staffing solutions.
  • Negotiate fees and establish project timelines and goals.
  • Match candidates with client requirements and coordinate interviews.
  • Prepare candidates and clients for interviews and debrief post-interview.
  • Negotiate offers and coordinate resignation and start dates.
  • Follow up post-hire to ensure objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with team members across divisions to facilitate pipelines.
  • Stay informed on hiring trends and labor market conditions.
  • Document all activities in ATS and CRM systems.
  • What will you bring?
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, sales, recruiting, or customer-facing roles.
  • Experience in staffing, B2B sales, or consultative selling is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, databases, and mobile apps.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills at various levels.
  • Strong drive, persistence, organization, communication, and time management skills.
