We are currently seeking a highly motivated Full-Charge Bookkeeper located in Aurora, CO. Overview: We're seeking an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to independently oversee all financial recordkeeping and support our company's financial health. The ideal candidate brings a decade of expertise and is highly proficient in QuickBooks Online, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant bookkeeping. Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting preferred Preferred Certifications/Licenses: Certification in QuickBooks (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor), or bookkeeping certification (e.g., CPB, CB) Required Qualifications: In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities: 10+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience. Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop. Expertise in full-cycle bookkeeping: accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management. Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and regulatory compliance. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with payroll systems (e.g., Gusto, ADP) Familiarity with tax filings, budgeting, and financial forecasting Prior experience in training staff or leading bookkeeping operations Responsibilities: Independently oversee full-cycle bookkeeping tasks, including AP/AR, payroll support, GL entries, and bank reconciliations. Utilize QuickBooks Online and Desktop to record and manage all financial transactions. Prepare and review monthly financial statements: Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow. Execute monthly and year-end closing processes. Manage sales tax, payroll tax filings, and ensure overall tax compliance. Assist with budgeting, cash flow analysis, and periodic financial forecasting. Collaborate with external accountants for audits and regulatory filings. Document bookkeeping procedures and ensure internal controls are maintained. Mentor and support junior accounting staff when necessary Salary: $63,000-$68,000/yr. Bonus Pay: A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at management's discretion.
