CBIZ Talent & Compensation Solutions is assisting our property management client in their search for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in New York City, NY.

Our client is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their finance team as an integral member of a growing property management company who manages a portfolio of about 130 properties throughout New York City. The full charge bookkeeper will be responsible for updating financial accounts and records.

Responsibilities/Requirements

• Verifying accounting records for accuracy
• Tracking activity
• Maintaining a system to organize documents
• Working within the general ledger and all accounting transaction cycles across Marin's portfolio of properties
• DHCR annual filings
• Bi-monthly and weekly payroll processing
• Processing annual CPA document requests
• Processing various property billbacks (quarterly, annually, etc.)
• Management/recording of various daily transactions and recurring items
• Bank reconciliation research
• Overflow from any other accounting cycle as needed

Knowledge/Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organization skills
• The ability to effectively multi-task
• Computer proficient

Qualifications

• Direct property management accounting experience preferred
• Experience in Yardi Voyager 7S preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• 5 years' experience as a bookkeeper or related experience preferred

This role will be fulltime on-site in the NYC office, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Salary - $75K-95K.
