We provide a full range of global trade consulting and logistics facilitation services focusing on global trade issues, trade compliance and supply chain execution, facilitation and sustainability management. About the Role: The FT Accounting Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the financial operations of the organization by ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounting transactions. This position is responsible for coordinating various accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting support. The coordinator will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. By managing day-to-day accounting tasks efficiently, the role contributes to the overall financial health and operational success of the company. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
    • Experience with QuickBooks.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to accounting and financial reporting.
    • Prior experience in a corporate accounting environment.
    • Certification such as Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or similar credentials. Responsibilities:
      • Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
      • Coordinate accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including timely billing and collections.
      • Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, general ledger accounts, and vendor statements to maintain accurate financial records.
      • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and support audits as needed.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve financial workflows.
      • Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting documentation and records.
      • Support the implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance internal controls. Skills:
        • The required skills enable the Accounting Coordinator to accurately process and manage financial transactions, ensuring data integrity and compliance with accounting standards.
        • Proficiency in accounting software and Excel is essential for preparing reports, performing reconciliations, and analyzing financial data efficiently.
