Our client is seeking an FSQA Technician to join their FSQA team. This role plays a key part in upholding food safety and quality standards, carrying out hands-on testing, and working cross-functionally with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure consistency and compliance. Focus:

• Perform food safety and quality evaluations to ensure products meet regulatory and internal benchmarks.
• Apply and maintain key food safety protocols, including HACCP and PCQI programs.
• Coordinate with departments like procurement, AP, logistics, and warehouse to drive quality across the supply chain.
• Analyze quality data to detect issues, recommend solutions, and prevent recurrence.
• Keep thorough and accurate records of audits, inspections, and food safety documentation.
• Communicate with suppliers and external partners to reinforce compliance requirements.
• Lead and support timely resolutions of product quality concerns as they arise.

Skill Set:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a similar field.
• At least 2 years of experience focused on food safety, regulatory compliance, or quality control (preferred).
• Working knowledge of HACCP, PCQI, and general food safety requirements.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized and detail-focused, with the ability to self-manage tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external collaboration.
