Principal, Business Process Optimization & Automation - Business Consulting
About the Role
The applicant should have experience in advising Insurance client executives, both business and IT, and leading teams on Insurance Business process optimization and Automation consulting engagements. Key qualifications include:
- Experience with Insurance Business Processes across multiple lines such as Life, Annuities, Brokerage, Property & Casualty, Group Benefits, Disability Insurance, and Long Term Care.
- Experience across the insurance value chain: Underwriting, Claims, New Business, Policy Servicing, etc.
- Proficiency in Process discovery, Process Assessment, and identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- End-to-end current state mapping and future state solution creation experience.
- Experience with end-to-end business process automation with insurance carriers, including implementing intelligent automation like RPA, RDA, IDP/iOCR, AI/ML, Chat BOTS, and GenAI.
- Knowledge of Process Assessment for digital transformation, Process Mining, and Task Mining.
- Familiarity with BPMN tools (e.g., IBM Blue Works, Visio) and automation platforms (UiPath, BluePrism, Automation Anywhere, Pega Robotics, Appian).
- Experience in value realization, benefits monitoring, Operating Model optimization, and Change Management.
- Additional skills: SharePoint, PowerBi, JIRA/Trello/ADO.
Other Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in consulting.
- Strategic mindset, leadership skills, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban methodologies.
- Ability to work in a global delivery model.
