Frontend Engineer - Search & Computer Vision - Verkada : Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Build the front end for our visual search experience
• Enable the web UI to process computer vision data
• Lead projects from design to implementation
• Optimize encoding and decoding functionality for 4K video
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver products on time

Requirements:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Internship experience developing and launching products
• Experience building reusable components, using CSS pre-processors, and creating pixel-perfect UIs
• Familiarity with agile development environments
• Experience with modern web frameworks like Angular.js, React, or Vue
• Knowledge of REST APIs; ability to read Python server code is a plus
• Comfortable with SQL, Distributed Systems, Operating Systems, AWS, Docker, etc.

Compensation:

Annual pay range: $130,000 — $280,000 USD, including base salary and potential bonuses or equity, depending on experience and location.
