Position Overview:The Frontend Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the user-facing components of our AI therapist platform. You will work closely with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product managers to ensure that our platform is visually appealing, easy to use, and optimized for performance across different devices. This role requires a strong command of frontend technologies and a passion for creating user-centered designs that enhance the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• User Interface Development: Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) to ensure a seamless user experience across web and mobile platforms.
• Collaboration with Design: Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate design prototypes into high-quality code, ensuring that the visual and interactive elements align with the design vision.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize frontend performance, including page load times and rendering speed, to provide users with a fast and efficient experience.
• API Integration: Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs, ensuring smooth data flow and dynamic content rendering within the frontend interface.
• User Experience Enhancement: Continuously iterate on the user interface based on user feedback and analytics, making data-driven improvements to enhance usability and engagement.
• Testing & Debugging: Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress) to ensure the stability and reliability of the frontend codebase. Debug and resolve frontend issues as they arise.
• Accessibility Compliance: Ensure that the platform meets accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) so that all users, including those with disabilities, can effectively use the AI therapist platform.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for the frontend codebase, including architecture, components, and processes, to facilitate collaboration and future development.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on building responsive, high-performance user interfaces. Experience in the healthcare or mental health space is a plus.
• Design Sensibility: Strong understanding of design principles, including color theory, typography, and layout. Ability to work closely with designers to implement visually appealing and intuitive interfaces.
• API Integration: Experience integrating frontend components with backend APIs, including handling asynchronous data fetching and state management.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop creative, efficient solutions to complex frontend challenges.
• Collaboration: Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees and relevant certifications are a plus.
