IPA (ImmunoPrecise Antibodies) is a Contract Research Organization (CRO) with end-to-end technology solutions empowering clients in the discovery and development of antibody therapeutics and diagnostics. We serve our partners through a multi-national, integrated network of facilities in North America and Europe. This enables us to offer a comprehensive range of antibody discovery and development services including, for example, custom antibody generation, in silico analysis, antibody characterization, engineering, manufacturing, and humanization. The design and implementation of the frontend web application are crucial to our development process, and you will be an essential part of a great company. You will work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team where your passion for IT and sleek frontends is shared, and you will contribute meaningfully to science and society.

Key responsibilities include:

• Further developing the frontend portal of our SaaS platform.
• Collaborating closely with the data engineering and data science teams to integrate complex data analysis algorithms into the UI.
• Making decisions regarding architecture, design, and user experience, prioritizing performance, scalability, security, and quality.
• Being the go-to person for UI-related matters, with hands-on programming to improve and extend the current UI using the React framework.
• Designing and implementing backend APIs.
• Working with the Head of Technology to create a roadmap with deliverables.
• Planning and delivering platform stages on time and reporting progress directly to the Head of Technology.

Requirements include:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in building complex custom user interfaces.
• Experience with supporting cloud-based/SaaS software and familiarity with AWS services (Cloudfront, Cognito, ECS, Fargate).
• Knowledge of application lifecycle management, continuous integration, and tools like Jira, Git, GKE.
• Knowledge of Go-Lang for backend API development is a plus.
• Willingness to learn about bioinformatics.
• Ability to find creative solutions for complex problems.
• Strategic thinking and willingness to take risks.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to deliver high-quality results on time.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
• Team player open to sharing ideas, perspectives, and feedback.
