Position: Front Office Attendant (Full-time: third shift) Hourly: $16.00/Hour, plus shift and weekend differential, if applicable Location: Gaming Division Reports to: Front Office Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Attend all required training sessions and adhere to established rules, regulations, and policies.
- Participate in the random drug testing program and work effectively with individuals of diverse personalities.
- Wear the approved departmental uniform and report to work reliably and punctually.
- Maintain compliance with workplace policies and procedures, including answering and processing all incoming calls professionally.
- Check bulletin boards and logbooks for updated information and promptly forward messages and faxes to guests and internal departments.
- Familiarize yourself with room types, rates, packages, and amenities, as well as resort activities, venues, and promotions.
- Record and follow up on guest requests, using radio communication for emergencies and non-emergencies.
- Maintain a welcoming presence at the front desk, addressing guests by name whenever possible and responding to inquiries courteously and efficiently.
- Uphold high service standards to enhance guest satisfaction, greeting and registering guests upon arrival, and handling special requests.
- Report pertinent information to supervisors, process guest payments accurately, and monitor lobby traffic flow for efficiency.
- Assist with other tasks as needed, including booking reservations, collaborating with supervisors on room blocks for groups, and handling guest complaints with active listening and resolution attempts.
- Interact with guests, peers, and other departments, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness at the front desk and PBX area.
- Prioritize and multitask effectively, assisting other team members during staff shortages, and completing end-of-shift paperwork and bank deposits securely.
- Return telephone messages promptly, respond to guest inquiries promptly and professionally, and perform any other assigned duties.
Qualifications & Education:
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred. High School Diploma or GED is required if you are 19 years old and under.
- Courteous and friendly demeanor.
- Previous experience in a similar position preferred.
- Computer literacy and typing skills (Microsoft Word and Excel).
- Experience with hotel management software is a plus.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional guest service skills.
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships.
- Understanding of a 24/7 operation.
- Flexible schedule availability.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Mohican Nation Gaming License.
- Must pass Criminal Investigation Background Check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Must be willing to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.

- Eligible for employer's liability insurance.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Work Conditions:
- Constant hand movements and standing, with occasional walking, bending, and reaching.
- Occasional pushing/pulling and lifting/moving up to thirty (30) pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required.
- A smoke-free work environment with varied noise and dust levels, depending upon location.
