Front Desk Representative - Holiday Inn Express Neptune : Job Details

The Holiday Inn Express of Neptune is seeking highly motivated candidates for the position of Front Desk Representative to join our award-winning team. Responsibilities include: •Greet, Check-in, and assign rooms to guests in a friendly but efficient manner •Answer all guests' questions, confirm reservations, and redirect phone calls to appropriate department when necessary •Monitor and update records of room availability and guests' accounts •Review accounts and charges with guests during the checkout process •Compute bills, collect payments, and make changes for guests accurately •Record guest comments or complaints, referring guests to managers as necessary •Attend monthly department meetings and training sessions as necessary Compensation and Benefits include: •This position offers a starting rate that ranges from $16.00 to $17.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. •Part time employees will have the opportunity to earn paid time-off and join the company's retirement plans (once qualified). •Full time employees will have the opportunity to earn paid time-off and join the company's health, dental, vision, and retirement plans (once qualified). Requirements Job Qualifications & Skills •Superb written and verbal communication skills •Excellent organization and multi-tasking abilities •Judgment and decision making •Strong knowledge of MS office programs •Experience with Opera is a plus •Mathematics and reading comprehension •Strong attention to detail •Ability to stand for long periods of time •Must be willing and able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
