Applications are invited for one (1) position as a temporary/casual Front Desk Assistant at the Urban Research and Outreach-Engagement Center (UROC), 2001 Plymouth Avenue North, Minneapolis, MN 55411. UROC's programs are committed to developing lasting partnerships with urban communities based on mutual respect and benefit. The staff, programs, and affiliates of UROC will pursue community-based and community-defined research that contributes to the vitality and well-being of the Northside and other urban neighborhoods of the Twin Cities. UROC is part of the Office of the Vice Provost of Public Engagement The person in this position will serve as the UROC receptionist and will also provide part-time clerical support to the UROC leadership team. The receptionist may also provide limited assistance to others in the facility. This will be an hourly, part-time position for less than 14 hours per week. The hours will usually be between 5 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturdays, but weekend hours are dependent on scheduled events. Pay Range: $17.00 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
