Edith Macy Center Front Desk Agent

Edith Macy Center is looking for an outgoing Front Desk Agent! You will greet and register guests, provides prompt and courteous service, and closes out guest accounts upon completion of stay to meet Pyramid Hotel Groups' high standards of quality. If you're friendly, professional, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to meet you! Flexible availability required mid-day shifts (typically between late morning and early evening). The Front Desk Agent will:

  • Greet guests with a warm, sincere welcome and ensure a smooth check-in/check-out process.
  • Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
  • Process payments accurately including credit cards, cash, traveler's checks, and vouchers.
  • Answer and direct phone calls professionally; relay messages and handle guest requests.
  • Resolve guest concerns effectively with patience, diplomacy, and follow-through.
  • Maintain a calm and composed demeanor during emergencies or peak times.
  • Assist with guest transportation needs using company vehicles.

Strong customer service skills with a positive and professional demeanor. Ability to remain composed in high-pressure or emergency situations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Comfortable using computers and hotel management software (experience with Maestro is a plus, but not required). Ability to stand and move throughout the front desk area for extended periods. Must be able to handle cash and balance a bank drawer accurately. Valid driver's license required for guest transportation responsibilities. This position pays $19-20 per hour. Candidates must be able to work a variety of days (at least 3) including weekends. Qualifications 1yr min of hotel experience. Must have clean, valid Driver's license. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $18.00/Hr. - $20.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
