Freeze Dryer Operator - Glanbia, Plc : Job Details

Handles the operation of various pieces of equipment used in processing whey. Essential Functions Efficiently operate all whey processing equipment (Freeze Dryer, Hydroflaker, Packaging Equipment, & Sterile filter if required) Collect and deliver all required samples to the laboratory Monitor operation of equipment and make adjustments to produce top quality products Trouble shoots equipment to improve and maintain operating efficiencies Operate and maintain all CIP systems Keep work area clean and uncluttered Assist with training people or other operators Read through Standard Operating Procedures and help update them when possible Take readings and fill out equipment log sheets Clean the interior & exterior of the plant (master sanitation) Monitor & Report all product spills, safety hazards, and equipment problems Take an active role in team participation i.e. HACCP, Food Safety etc Each employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations, a...Dryer, Operator, Customer Experience, Processing, Equipment, Business Partner, Manufacturing
