Position Overview: We are looking for a high-performing FP&A Analyst who can thrive in a fast-paced and high-growth organization. The ideal candidate will possess a natural ability to build relationships across the organization in order to improve processes, streamline operations and ensure accurate, timely and relevant financial reporting and analysis. This opportunity has strong upside and the ability to expand along with the company's growth. Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000 annually Key Responsibilities:
  • Be the primary finance business partner for P&L owners across sports operations, growth-related, and shared services functions, providing key analytics and decision support
  • Help to identify and implement optimization opportunities across critical business areas such as sales, marketing, programming, pricing, product, technology, among others
  • Produce and manage full P&L reporting and analysis of performance across markets, sports, venues, etc., including discussion and analysis of variance to forecast
  • Analyze trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditure, as well as operational KPIs
  • Produce and manage critical weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting internally to senior management & city / departmental leaders, and externally to vendors and investors
  • Coordinate and help drive the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes
  • Support and action ad-hoc queries from management and business initiatives and make recommendations to the executive team
  • Support the development of the FP&A capabilities, systems and processes
  • Support corporate development efforts including investor diligence and correspondence, debt and equity capital fundraising, and potential strategic partnership opportunities
Qualifications: MUST-HAVES
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. Major in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience, ideally banking, private equity, or corporate finance
  • Advanced excel and financial reporting skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to adapt to new information systems
  • A strong work ethic with high integrity and ethical standards
  • Ability to thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving and constantly evolving high growth environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
WOW US WITH
  • SQL knowledge & familiarity with relational databases
  • Experience with Sage Intacct, Bill.com, and other accounting software
  • Prior experience in a startup or rapidly growing company
  • Experience in the sports, events, or entertainment industry
