Founding AI Software Engineer Full-Time | Austin, TX Hybrid - United States Salary: $120,000 – $180,000 + Huge Equity My client is building mission-ready AI tools for the modern Warfighter — powerful, intuitive AI systems already in use across operational Army units. They're now hiring a Founding Frontend-Focused AI Software Engineer to design and deliver user-facing components that make complex AI tech usable by non-technical users in the field. What You'll Do: Own the development of intuitive frontend interfaces using React and JavaScriptIntegrate LLMs, RAG pipelines, and system orchestration into seamless AI applicationsCollaborate with ML engineers and military users to ship production-ready full-stack solutionsWork in Python, JavaScript, and modern development environments (CI/CD, Docker, Git, etc.)What You'll Need: 3+ years of professional software development experienceStrong proficiency in React, Python, and AI/ML integrationExperience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.), RAG, and vector databasesEligible for Secret or TS/SCI clearance (US Citizenship required)Bonus if you have: Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity standards (NIST, RMF, CMMC)GIS or geospatial analysis skillsExperience deploying in air-gapped or disconnected environmentsWhy Join?
