Our client is a fast-growing, well-funded AI-native startup backed by top venture firms including General Catalyst and Venrock, along with notable financial executives (e.g., former CEO of Vanguard, former CFO of Schwab). They are building the future of intelligent wealth infrastructure—unifying fragmented tools into a powerful end-to-end platform for financial advisors.

You'll be joining as employee #3, shaping the product, technical foundation, and culture from the ground up. This is an incredibly high-impact role for an engineer who wants to be fully immersed in AI and thrive in a fast-paced, high-caliber environment.

What You Will Do

• Build core platform features and multi-agent AI workflows that automate complex financial advisor processes.

• Architect, develop, and scale end-to-end systems across the backend and frontend.

• Collaborate directly with the founding team to drive product decisions, define engineering practices, and build the technical foundation.

• Solve high-impact problems in applied AI, data orchestration, and automation.

• Own your domain—take responsibility from inception to deployment across the full stack.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 3–8 years of full-stack experience at top-tier, venture-backed startups (preferably Series B or earlier).

• Significant ownership of features/products from 0 to 1.

• Experience or strong exposure to Applied AI: comfortable using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, etc.

• Prior experience in founding teams or long tenures at early-stage companies is a major plus.

• Strong backend and infrastructure focus with product-thinking instincts.

Preferred

• CS or equivalent STEM degree from a top-tier university.

• Proficiency in:

  • Backend: Python, Django

  • Frontend: TypeScript, Vercel

  • Infra: AWS ECS, RDS/Postgres, Redis, Terraform

  • AI/ML Tools: OpenAI, Anthropic, Claude, Cursor

• Traits: hungry, curious, fast-moving, and high ownership mindset.
