Delivering secure network infrastructure, end-to-end

SiFi Tech is seeking a skilled FortiGate Engineer to design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade firewall, SD-WAN, and network security infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing FortiGate, FortiSwitch, and FortiAnalyzer solutions for hybrid environments, securing cloud and on-premises networks, and proactively mitigating threats. This is a fully remote opportunity.

• Design, configure, and maintain FortiGate firewalls across multi-site, hybrid, and cloud environments.
• Implement secure SD-WAN, VPNs (IPsec, SSL), and network segmentation strategies.
• Deploy and integrate FortiSwitches, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiManager for unified network security management.
• Proactively monitor network and firewall activity, analyze security logs, and fine-tune policies.
• Support incident response efforts, including investigating threats, vulnerabilities, and breaches.
• Document configurations, network topologies, and security architectures following best practices.
• Collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and project managers on security initiatives.
• Assist with DR site connectivity, secure remote access solutions, and continuous network hardening efforts.

• 3+ years of hands-on FortiGate firewall administration and configuration experience.
• Experience with FortiSwitch, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager implementations.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts: BGP, OSPF, VLANs, IPsec, NAT, routing, switching.
• Proficiency in configuring secure VPNs (site-to-site and remote access).
• Knowledge of intrusion prevention systems (IPS), antivirus protection, web filtering, and application control.
• Fortinet NSE 4 Certification (preferred); NSE 5 or above a plus.
• Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and hybrid network solutions.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Self-starter able to work independently in a remote environment.
