Forklift Operators - Express Employment : Job Details

Express Employment is seeking dedicated Forklift Operators to join teams here in the Toledo Area. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, and stack materials within a warehouse and production environment, ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods.

• Safely operate forklifts to lift, move, and stack materials and products
• Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safe operation
• Load and unload trucks and containers, verifying accuracy of shipments
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in inventory management
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and guidelines
• Keep work area organized, clean, and free of hazards
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime if necessary
