Now Hiring: Freezer Operator (Forklift Operator) - 2nd Shift | Clifton, NJ Pay Rate: $ 22.00/hr Schedule: Monday - Friday (2nd Shift) + Rotating Weekends Adecco is currently seeking reliable and motivated Forklift Operators to join our client's Warehouse team in Clifton, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, cold storage environment and has experience operating forklifts. Job Title: Freezer Operator (Forklift Operator) Job Summary: The Freezer Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment, including forklifts, within a freezer warehouse environment. Duties include shipping and receiving, organizing inventory, and maintaining accurate inventory records using Batchmaster. Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
  • Put pallets away in an organized manner for easy retrieval.
  • Enter pallet movements into Batchmaster using a tablet.
  • Stage pallets for shipment following FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
  • Perform pre-use safety checks on equipment and maintain battery water levels.
  • Follow all company GMP policies, safety protocols, and PPE requirements.
  • Support Driver responsibilities when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
  • Comfortable working in freezer environments.
  • Familiarity with inventory systems like Batchmaster is a plus.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
