Seneca Foods in Janesville, WI is currently seeking a Forklift Operator Warehouse to join our team. Responsibilities include unloading, loading, transferring, and stacking finished goods and supplies from trucks. Interprets shipping order or receiving report to determine item to be (un)loaded. Ability to stack and unstack pallets of products in rows. Checks product for quality, and proper shipping information. Daily inspection of vehicle before operating, corrects any low fluid levels. Track, input, change, and update inventory data with scanners. Comply with proper weight distribution on rail cars and trucks.
Qualifications: Must operate all warehouse lift trucks:fork truck, clamp truck, and chisel truck. Must be able to load railcars, semi-truck/trailers, and containers. Must be able to pick (set-up) customer orders, high stack brites, warehouse labeled product (from the end of lines), and support front of labeling lines. Must be able to use a scanner to maintain inventory in all applicable tasks listed above. Requires the ability to bend, lift, carry, push, and pull varying weights up to 50 pounds. Job entails extensive sitting. Must have depth perception, peripheral vision, near, mid and far-range vision, and must have good hearing. Must have the ability to effectively communicate with management and fellow employees.
