Forklift Operator (NE) - Hans Kissle : Job Details

Founded in 1984, Häns Kissle began as the regional commissary for a small, high-end grocery chain in New England, MA, crafting fresh, upscale prepared foods and deli salads. Today we have two manufacturing facilities in Massachusetts and North Carolina. Purpose: A forklift operator in a food manufacturing role is responsible for safely moving materials and products to support smooth production, while following strict food safety and quality standards. Essential functions and responsibilities

• Select orders fresh/frozen
• Rotating & understanding FIFO (first in first out)
• Monthly inventory: FG monthly /boxes weekly
• Loading/unloading trucks
• Input orders
• Follow company's policies and procedures
• Attend training and meetings as required
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• 2 years of warehouse experience and rider jack experience preferred
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Able to work flexible schedule-(may require working weekends/mid-shifts/nights)
• Ability to speak and write in English
• Must have some computer skills (windows excel/office)

Work environment

• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to work in 40 degree temperature
• Work well in fast paced environment

Preferred Skills

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Intermediate skills with Excel and Word

Required attributes

• Flexibility and able to work independently

Schedule This first shift role is scheduled for 7:00am-3:30pm +/- 2 hours based on production needs. Hans Kissle takes pride in its people and products.
